What's new in 2009

Management Dashboard Management Dashboard
A new Management Information Dashboard allows instant and easy access to valuable management information. Managers can now easily view and analyse all Enquiries and Valuations with a range of user-defined criteria being applied to each screen. Any customisation performed on any of the AnalysisPanels, including layout and selection criteria are remembered the next time the user opens the Dashboard.

Enquiry Analysis
This allows graphical analysis of enquiries within user-defined criteria. For example the number of enquiries within specific periods by Engineer, Enquiry Type, Client etc.

Enquiries Won and Lost Anaylsis
This allows graphical analysis of enquiries won and lost showing value by type, estimator, client etc.

Valuations Analysis
Allows analysis of Valuations, showing both applied and nonapplied values, within a user-defined period. A month by month breakdown of values is also shown graphically.

Business Management Report Console
The new Cross Contract Database Builder (CCDB) provides access to all key ContractMaster Project and Enquiry information in a single centralised SQL Server database for ease of reporting.

Also included is a new, easy to use Report Generator that allows users to define their own Custom Reports, taking data from all major ContractMaster modules. Reports may also include data from any other SQL Databases including Estimation’s own Service Manager, Contract Costing and Financial applications.

You will also be able to create, edit, sort, delete and customize business reports and documents created in other reporting applications, e.g. Microsoft Excel, Access and Crystal Reports. All documents and reports are stored and easily accessed from with the new Business Management Reporting Console.

Estimate Graphical Analysis Estimate Graphical Analysis
Prime Cost Summary Totals may now be viewed graphically. Users can select to display information in different chart styles, e.g. Bar or Pie Chart. Different cost elements, e.g. Labour Hours, Material or Sub contractor costs etc., may be displayed by Section, Location, Commodity, Group, Grade or Cost Head.

Enhanced Supplier Discount Management
Supplier Discounts are now much easier to manage with the ability to export your user-defined discount structures in either Microsoft Excel or csv format. The exported discount structure may then be forwarded to suppliers for their completion of your discounts.

Completed discount files from suppliers are then electronically imported back into the discount structure. This quick and easy process saves time and helps reduce duplication and errors.

Auto Numbering of Project IDs
Users can now have separate automatic Project numbering within ContractMaster, similar to the existing automatic Enquiry numbering. Auto Numbering

In a further improvement to the ContractMaster integration to Estimation’s Financial Suite, users can now also elect to use the automatic numbering within Costing. This ensures that a single numbering system can be set up and automatically applied across both systems.

Automatic Project Numbering allows for the following four options.
Enquiry
-  The current enquiry number is used by default, which the user may over type.
Simple -  The next project number in sequence is generated and users can specify the prefix.
By Branch -  Uses the next project number for the contract’s branch.
Costing -  The Costing system will determine the next number to use.
